Newsletter

The Association newsletter is written and edited by the newsletter committee, published each spring and mailed to all Chain property owners.

Name/Address Arrow Signs

The name/address arrow signs committee works to keep our signs updated with the most current information , as well as repairing any damage that may occur throughout the year.  We need your help to insure this information is accurate.  If you know of a change in ownership or see any sign damage, please contact the name/address arrow signs committee.

Chain O'Lakes History
The history committee continually works to perserve the legacy of the Chain O'Lakes.  Its most current project is documenting the history of cottages on the lakes.  If you would like your cottages history published please contact the committee.

Website Development

The website development committee is responsible for updating and maintaining the association website with information that is both useful and informative.  Its goal is to be your "one stop" website for all your Chain O'Lakes information.  Please contact us if there is any information you would like to see added.

 Shoreland Zoning

The shoreland zoning committee attends Waupaca County zoning hearings and board of adjustment hearings related to Chain properties. It keeps up to date with county and state regulations and related changes.

Membership Directory

The membership directory "Who's Hoo on the Chain" is published each spring and delivered by the neighborhood chairpersons to current Association members.

 Boat Inspection (Clean Boats/Clean Waters)

The boat inspection committee coordinates, in conjunction with an outside firm, to provide boat inspections at the Taylor Lake & Snug Harbor boat launches weekends and holidays during the summer.  These inspections are designed to eliminate the introduction of aquatic invasive species into our lakes.  Your help as a volunteer is greatly appreciated!  Please contact the committee to sign up!

Wooden Boat Parade

The wooden boat parade committee organized the first (and very well attended) wooden boat parade at the Clearwater Harbor in 2007.  The committee is planning to make this an annual event on the Chain!  If you know someone with a wooden boat please encourage them to sign up for this event.

Water Patrol/Safety

The water patrol/safety committee works with local law enforcement to insure a safe boating experience.
